Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Short version: ProperlyPaid's tools run entirely in your web browser. We don't have accounts, we don't see your invoices, and we don't sell data — because we don't collect any.

Information we don't collect

When you use our invoice generator, calculators, or other tools, everything you type — business names, client details, line items, amounts — stays on your device. It is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. We have no way to see, access, or recover your drafts; they're stored in your own browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may log basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location (country/city level). We use this only to understand overall usage (which pages are popular, whether the site is working) — never to identify you, and never linked to anything you type into the tools.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies or local-storage entries for:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools will still work, though saved drafts rely on local storage.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to third-party services. If you click one and sign up, the third party may set their own cookies under their own privacy policy. We don't receive your personal information from these clicks — only aggregate referral counts.

Data sharing

We don't sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone, because we don't collect personal information through the tools in the first place. The only data that leaves your device is the standard technical logging described above.

Children

ProperlyPaid is a business tool and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted prominently.
